Buck D-2 Personal knife feedback

Gave my husband a Buck D-2 Personal knife for Christmas. He asked me to find out what people thought of the knife, but I could't easily find postings. Appreciate your thoughts.

Michelle, welcome to the Buck Forum. The Buck 118 Personal is a fine knife and a favorite among big game hunters. It has come in a variety of steels, D-2 being one of them and an upgrade if you will over some of the standard stainless steels. You gave your husband a very fine knife, a terrific gift - I am sure he will enjoy using it. My 118 is my hands down favorite deer hunting knife I have owned (handle is just the right size for secure gripping and the blade is big enough to skin but small enough not to get in my way when working inside a deer).
