Buck Displays at the Cincinnati NKCA show

The Buck Collectors Club Inc. will be holding a regional meeting at the Covington/Cincinnati NKCA show this October 27-29. The club always has a strong showing of displays at this show. I would like to invite any member who would like to display their collection or even part of it to join us there. There is still plenty of time to get a display together.Even if you can't exhibit, come on out and enjoy all of the displays.

Hey! Thats good news, I saw last years show with the Buck displays & really enjoyed it.

Will C.Buck be at the show this time also? Last time he was signing knives etc with a high speed engraver. If he will be at this show I'll bring one of my nicer Buck knives to have autographed.

That was Chuck Buck who was at last year's show. I,m not sure if he will be there this year or not. Maybe Joe can help us out with this info.

As far as i know Chuck will not be at this year's show. I might be wrong but he has been on the road so much this year already that i doubt he will be able to make it. I hope i am wrong, it is always more fun when he is there!
John, You can count me in! I hear there are going to be some really nice knives given out as awards for member's displays?

I have heard that rumor too! Maybe when we learn for sure what those knives will be, we can post it here. I am sure that these knives will be a strong enticement to bring a display to the show.

John, Count my display in, I was there last time, it was well worth the effort. The Buck Club is really making an impact on the knife comunity.

Sounds great! I'm glad to hear you'll be there. I really enjoyed your display at the Blade Show and look forward to seeing it again. I believe you are right, the BCCI really has made an impact on the knife community!

I would enjoy displaying my small collection of Buck knives. Especially since I am only about four hours away.

This years award knife will be....
a 532 with polished water bufalo horn inlays!
They look very nice. Its hard to go wrong when you start with a 532 and give it to Wild Bill Codey!
I encourage any member wanting to display at the show to contact Murray Andrews and let him know.
If you are still "thinking" about it, give me a holler and let me talk you into it!

Just spoke with Murray Andrews and can say that he is one nice person!

So don't hesitate to call him. He won't answer the phone saying, "Hey, what ya want."

He is a real gentleman.

At last count we have 23 adult members of the BCCI and 3 youth members displaying at the Cincy show. I think that's pretty awesome. I think you would be hard pressed to find another club with dedicated members like ours.

Well, my father-in-law talked me into going with him to this year's show. This will be my first show, so I won't be displaying... just looking.

From what he tells me of buckcustom's collection, I will need to bring my own drool bucket! I can't wait to meet you guys.
