I guess I should join. I'm not really a serious collector though. I use the knives I buy, so I don't need or want limited edition knives, etc. But the info in the newsletter might be useful...

You are serious enough to ask questions. Most of us here use a majority of our knives. There are a few knives in my collection that will not be used.If you buy a Buck 110, use it ,then decide you want a PCKS (Buck custom) then you've just added to your collection with out thinking about it. Plus 'users' gives you a good chance to evaluate the technical advances made by the manufacturers.

OK. You've convinced me. :D My printer isn't working, and there isn't any online ordering system, so can I just send them the check and a letter?

Yes, that should work. Maybe Gypsy or Larry or John will pop up with any details I've muissed.

Hi K. - let me be a bit premature and WECLOME you to BUCK FEVER, also known as the Buck Collector's Club. You can either email me direct (link below), or BUCKCUSTOM and we'll get an application to you. If you email Buckcustom (John) it may be better as he is the President and can probably take care of things quicker.

NO need to be a LIMITED EDITION, or "Got to have one of everything" type person to be a member. As guy g mentioned, most of us all carry "users" and by carrying Buck we know we are carrying the best out there, with the BEST Customer Service behind the knife. The newsletter and the website are just tools to keep informed about the knife you carry, where it came from, and what's new coming down the road. Besides, you get to hang out with a great bunch of knife knuts that live, speak, and probably bleed, BUCK....

If you want more info on the club, check out the official web site at www.buckcollectorsclub.org or my web site at http://bcci.hawkwatcherpa.com. I have more pictures, they have more info. Once you join, you'll get a user name and password to get into the Member's Only section of the official site. - If you ever have a question, or just want to chat, feel free to stop in here, or drop me a email direct.

K,

If your printer isn't working I can either fax or snail mail you a copy of the application. Let me know, and I'd be glad to help you out. I know it might be a little premature, but welcome to the club!

Guy,

Great job of recruiting! Keep up the good work!

John - just because I was writting a book (see above) doesn't mean you had to get the first WELCOME in.....

John and Gypsy, Thanks for the kind words and help with K. I dont always see things the way others do, but I still believe in Buck knives.
take care
guy

Welcome to the Buck forum. Your first post here. Did you notice you dredged up a 18 year old post? Yes it was discontinued for awhile in 2003. It has bounced around a bit since then, both as limited editions and catalog item. It was listed as a regular catalog item last year and was listed this year as an Eagle Scout special edition. Why discontinued?... only some one from Buck could answer that but sales is always suspect.

cause these 112 fans have this crazy idear it was the better same size blade knife...they of course are wrong.....😁🤣😁

I'm sure it was a lack of sales and production space that killed it off again.......

maybe we can resurrect this thread everytime the 500 comes back and is killed off again. we should start a 532 thread too for same thing.....😄
