I was digging around in my closet today and found my Buck Ecco. This knife was made in Japan and has Sekiden written on the handle as the handle of a sword. This was one of the knives I would leave in places I used to frequent so I would not have to pack one. It was my adventurer knife. It has a razor sharp hollow ground main blade and a wharncliffe/sheepfoot blade that is a bit more than half serrated. The liner locks (2) have strong detents so there is no worry about carrying it in my pocket.

Shown with a Delica for size comparison:

This has been a great knife. I seem to remember that later models had some QC issues and so they were discontinued. But the F&F on this one is superior. The blade centering is perfect on both blades. The grinds and bevels are perfect. The edges are thin and this is a great slicer. The FRN is nicely done and attractive. The detents are strong and the lockup is at about 50% for both blades. There is no blade play in any direction that I can tell using my hands. Perfect.

I cannot remember the model number. Perhaps some of you can recall?

As I recall, there were two ECCO models and one was model # 274 which would likely mean the other was #273 or #275 but I am not sure!

Cute little knife. I don't recall this one. Learn something new every day.

I really like this knife. The model I have has a 2 3/4", or there about, main blade. The blade is almost as long as the blade on the Delica.

Sorry for the terrible photos. The only camera I have is on my Samsung smart phone. It does not take very good photos.

This one...
Mint in box says ECCO 3.0
Model B275-BK-0
Cat 5090
Japan
The warranty paper address is El Cajon so its at least pre Idaho.. Otherwise no clue on age.
Pretty nifty little liner lockers. Coleman made one almost identical thats aluminum.
