I've been thinking of getting one of these for my backpack.
I don't have much experience with short sharpeners like these.

Anyone here have any experience with this item?

I was looking at the flip stick, but I'm afraid the short one is too short.
I dunno, haven't seen one in person.

Both have grooves for sharpening fish hooks.

I have the orange one like yours Mike I keep it in my backpack never used it but it’s there if I ever need it.

Glad you sorted it out.

I have one that I use in combination with my DMT aligner kit. The DMT kit includes a cone-rod for sharpening serrations, it threads onto a steel piece for use with the angle-aligner AND the Edge-Tek has the same threading.

I got the Edgetek for sharpening curved blades, and the coarse face does a fine job knocking down shoulders.
