THANK YOU SO MUCH!
CJ and Shara and all the rest of the Buck Employees realyed welcomed me and my brother as fellow employees for the day at the SHOT SHOW
in orlando...
we got to see ALL the new customs comeing for the 07 cataloge!!
Frank got me some pins for my Buck ID bage..
The Buck employee bages gave us VIP access to any ware in the convention center...
i was most impressed with the amount of ordering repersantives who were lineing up over 20 deep to Spin to win Buck Knives shirts hats and all knids
of Buck stuff !!!!
have to go now will be back in 60 min with more reporting !
 
I like getting those "whole access" badges cause you get the food.
What was on the chow menu Dave?

Oh, and thanks for the report on the Shot Show.
Need some inside scoop on the tang stamp for 2007.
 
Why do I have this image of customers getting invoices in a few days that they can't read? :D

Employee for a day:thumbup: i hope you took lots of cash or your check book so you can take advantage of the employee discount and buy lots of knives:D

naw i did not get the food withthe pass... no one did...
coffie was 5$ a 12oz cup hot doig 6.50 fries 4$ watter 3.50$ a bottle...
parking in the handcap zone was 10$
naw me ware a tie? who you kidding! Cj reconsised me instantly from the picture i posted...
yes i got my picture taken with cj and shara holding the next knife i will have as a prise on the next give away contest on this forum! it is a 112 buck lite signed by both CJ and Shara!! uit was the edc i happened to have and yes they noted i had it as a EDC and commented on that they had not seen a buck lite for a while!
so that will be the give away later this summer!

felt i felt like i was amound old friends from school to tell you how it was...

oh yes as a buckaroo i also checked out some of the compation ...
jest for reporting to you guys that the others had nothing new...

i will say i was impressed with one new up start knife conpany that is only 3 years old...
Dark Ops... yes it is a real knife company and i was impressed with some of the miltary minded fixed blades...

as that i was not aware that it was a real company...

back to Buck ... you should see the 124 chip flint
the 503 from WBC is SWEET!
oh and the 112NK&Stag is sweeetttt!!! also
i have found a new edc to replace the buck lite i carry and it is new this year also!
you should see the folding locking kilginia ! this is one heck of a user!
i see it as perfict for elk and moose hunters and is one hand full of fab useing knife...

there is a whole line of the pin blade knifes come ing in stag...
and the 500 in mastadon white ivory is to cut your self for!!!

so much ... so little time ... and i could not get back today as had no one to drive this morning...
my brother is now a buck fan also but not yet a nut as us..
i gave him the knive i won for doing the driving and he got CJ to sign it ..
he asked is it ok to ask and do you think he will?
i said "he will or a bear dont use the woods! "

sadly some of the guys that we all want to meet did not make it
joe had to work as did bos and some of the others

i learned that it Might
be possable for the club to commision a balde stamp based on the style of the 112 founders stamp that will be come the property of the BCCI for use only on BCCI knives... if there is enught intrest... and it meets approval of the powers that be...
i have several designs in mind already!!!
well i have only limited time on the web and have to give up the key board for a bit... will try to get bnack on tonite... those that have my number give me a call for more details! scott that is you as well as buck 110... i call daryels from the show floor and gave him a eye whitness as it happen discription!

And I was spinning the wheel on Saturday, won a Buck Metro LED knife:D...the wife already snatched it for her purse.

Was a great show, had to take 3 trips back to my truck to unload all the catalogs and handouts I gathered up.

Lots of nice things coming from Buck this year.

My sense of charity leads me to offer to EDC test all of the new Buck products. It's an imposition, but I'm willing to be inconvenienced if my efforts serve the greater knife community. The Buck folks can e-mail me for my mailing address.
 
Dave, Thanks for the update. Sounded like a fantastic time. From the description of all those new knives..I'll need a lot of extra money

A question: Did you see the date code for 07? Would you tell it on us?

picts were set at 5 meg each so would take 5 min to load here..
will try to tet to high speed cable or dsl instead of this dirt road dile up...

maby when i get to darrylS house we can ...

i realy want to thank CJ for allowing me that day and i wish i could have
come back on suday when it was not so hetic...
it realy is a busness trip for them and is a lot of work also...
it was only in breff moments that any one of them were not bussy...
i was realy impressed with all they had to do and questions they answered...
some times i felt i was takeing up the work time and i tryed to not take up too much of each at any one time...
i may try to wright up a artical for the club letter of what i saw they had to do... realy it was something that cj and them took valuable tome to please a club member and make his day and give his bother the impresson

Sorry I missed you at the show Dave. It sounds like you had a blast! Thanks for sharing your experience. Did you find the secret stash of coffee and muffins back behind the spinning wheel? Thats where I always like to hang out. :rolleyes:
By the way, the date code for 2007 is an arrow pointing down.

yes i found the stash of coffie but the donuts were GonE!
i had a blast !
my brother was most impressed that we had the access to CJ and Shara and that every one made us so welcome!
He was even impressed that he made a sujestion on the new neck knife by mayo and that they liked it and wrote it down in some note pad! he said they liked what i said they wrote it down!
that knifre is now on his birthday wish list...
that new folding kalinga is AWSOME!
have you tested it on elk yet?
i was taken with the customs !
so many pocket ones with stag ...
the WBC's and Yellowhorse also
clint realyu liked the heartage dagger with the file marks/groves and the twisted cut horn handle!!!

we each got the 07 catloge and i got the price list!!!
also got the test to become a Buck Knife Certified Knife Expert!
will be sending it in to you for my frame able copy and i want you to sign it also!
Shara is wonderfull and i have some ordering to do !
soon as i get some money ... have to sell to buy at this time!!!
so.... some got to go to get others!
man i miss my high speed broadband....
