I picked this up today and not real sure what I have. I traded an old beat up 410 shotty for it. Did I do good or bad? The handle looks like some sort of black wood but feels like it may be some sort of plastic. It is stamped "Buck 124 USA". Your help is greatly appreciated. I'll try to get some better pics up later.

No, it was a Mossy Bolt Action. I know absolutely nothing about knives and thought I would take a chance on it. If someone would tell me how to post some pics I'll get some up asap.

Coach,

Go to main Buck forum page and do a thread search for 124s and you should find a bunch of photos and maybe find your knife.....

Welcome Coach . I'd take a Buck 124 over a Mossberg .410 bolt action . 300 good to see you here as well . DM

Thanks for the info. I think I'm going to sell it because I'm not a collector and it is way to nice looking to use. If you know anyone looking for one of these, please refer them to me.

coach, there are instructions on the opening page of the forum. The pictures have to be on a web page and you copy the url between "
".

Is $150 a fair asking price? To high or to low?

We need to see a photo to give you a correct answer. Also do you have the box the knife was sold in, the paperwork for the knife, the correct sheath for the knife, what is the condition of the knife. Without the info listed above I can't help and a photo of what you have will help nail it down.

That said, the 124 is a wonderful knife and sell very well. How much you will get $$$$ depends on what you have.
