Awhile back I saw a 303 in this packaging swimming in the "bay", and now a 301 has popped up.

Claims it is a "distributor display box" from 1980.

The name "RUKO" being on it is a surprise, since RUKO is the cheap chinese made subsidiary of Muela Spanish knives???
 
Man, the lawers would not allow that blade to be open like that now...It does look cool!
 
Just a follow up, I now notice that the seller is in Canada.

Wonder if this could be export packaging????
 
The name Buck looks really odd, almost to thick or heavy set type.
Seems strange to me.
 
I don't see a lot of the slippies...but isn't the oval inlay in the scale a bit long???

...And the nail nick looks long, too...

300$$$ would know...

It says it's from 1980, which would make it a Camillus contract.

The shield and long pull are correct for a Camillus 301.
