Search the title on the bay and comment here about how this person chose to handle a complaint about BKI.
Surely flame posts are not the way.
This one for sure would have qualified for a "People are Crazy" thread.
Claims Buck sent him the knife shown as replacement for an irreparable 301 he sent in.
Buck Knives Inc. Buck Knives Inc.

Gotta say, while putting it up for what's clearly supposed to be a fake auction is pretty juvenile, there's no hiding the fact that if that's true, it was a huge mistake on Buck's part to send that knife out.

I’m surprised that knife even made it out of the factory at all. Staggeringly bad.

That being said, I think that guy’s response is pretty un-productive. He could’ve just sent it to buck with a complaint and I’m sure it would’ve been swapped out for a nice one.

I don’t get it. All the trouble he put into that auction listing he could’ve Emailed or called Buck much easier. Now I’ve never been in a knife factory not even once although I’d love to tour a few. However in both factories I’ve worked in, there’s been a goof up pile. In the machine shop we had an area for goof up parts that we’d use to train new people on or train old people on new operations etc. I’m of the opinion that maybe a new employee might’ve grabbed one out of the goof up pile and shipped it to him by mistake. Had to be a total mistake because I’ve never seen a Buck leave the factory looking like that. I’m not the end all authority but I’ve had a lot of new Buck knives and never seen one looking that bad. For all we know this feller works for a competing knife company and is trying to make Buck look bad by getting a new 301 and taking a belt sander to it at his house or something and screaming to the world about its quality. Highly suspicious

I attempted to reach out to him via Ebay but have not gotten a response. We are human and mistakes happen but that 301 was not sharpened correctly and I would have been happy to send him a replacement. I didn't have enough information from his post to look up if he had a warranty order in with us.
