I’ve narrowed the age of this to 1969-1972, but how much is this worth. I’m just divesting myself of hundreds of things accumulated over 65 years.

Buck USA I figured out it was 1969-1972 model year. I was interested in value. I have numerous knives, some hand made that I don’t have much history on. I don’t have anyone to leave them to so I am in the process of shining lots of things up, taking pictures, and selling these items. and having a lot of difficulty navigating this site.

You can often search the auction sites for the make/model and get a good feel for a knifes worth.

That stamp started in 1967 on the left side. Some time between 1968-70 that stamp went to the right hand side, 3rd version, varation 9. Then back to the left side in the 4th & 5th versions, 1970-72. Selling price depends much upon condition: has it been sharpened & carried, does it have the original box, papers & sheath? A photo would help. Your grand daughter could likely do it. DM

Regardless of the value any old knife has, it goes down considerably the second you go shining it up so I'd hold off on that.
Even if the seller would do it themselves after they get it this always makes you wonder what else might have been done.
