Buck forever warranty - Outside the upper 48

Morning fellas.
I've read alot about the Buck Warranty from the slips that come with my knives.
That is more than supported by many great reports I hear from Buck owners & what I read here:thumbup:

What I am not sure of is how the warranty works for owners in Europe & Asia for instance.
Whats the process to avoid our UK customs & Excise slapping duty & tax on the blade after warranty work for instance !

Shipping is obviously going to be an issue I guess.

If its impracticable to do this, is there a UK / European distributor who takes responsibility for estimating warranty ?

Thanks

Hey Intrepid1

When buck send it back it comes under Warranty Repair... so therefore you will not be hit with customs charges. This was how my Tempest was labeled up

We like to say LOWER 48..... but no biggie  :D

A few weeks ago there was thread from a German who had got a Dorado on Ebay with a set of damaged scales. I believe Joe just sent him a set of replacements, no cost to the owner.
