Can someone tell me the difference in the markings on the blades (ie: 124 +). Was it different blade steels?? When collecting this item was one more desireable than another ??

The markings after the model # is a year code. the + is for year 1991.

You picked a fun knife to collect! There are quite a few variations of this model out there to look for. Probably the most collectible version would be the one with the solid black handle. There are quite a few others to look for and if you send me an email with your address, I will send you a list of some of the known variations.
