Sorry, I am totally inept at posting pics, but I was browsing around ebay and found this little gem for $19.99 + shipping: 4 1/4" overall length of s30v steel with a molded nylon sheath that can be worn around the neck if you so choose. I Googled it and found a few places were listing them as not in stock yet, so I figured what the hell! Its only $20 bucks for what seems to be a nice little EDC that I can attach to my keys. I'm really psyched about this little knife and can't wait untill it comes home to Poppa:D .
Does anyone have any info about this knife? Does anyone have one of these knives? Opinions/ reviews? I hope I didn't blow some coin on a P.O.S but it really does not look so.
The only info I could find about this knife/ design is it must be a collaboration between Buck and maker Doug Hartsook (www.hartsookknives.com). Looks like its based on his "Talon Lite" model but in s30v steel.
Anyway I really would appreciate any info you all could give. This is my 1st Buck knife purchase in about 20 yrs and I'm hoping with crossed fingers that I'll be pleased.
thanks for looking,
Tony

BigTony,
Welcome to Bladeforums and the Buck forum. The Buck Hartsook collaboration is a mid-year release for 2006. I've got 4 of them on order, for myself & sons. I think with a Paul Bos heat treat on the s30v, should be a nice little fixed blade, small enough to slip into a front or back pocket with that molded sheath. For around $20 and a semi custom made in the USA by Buck Knives, how could you go wrong?

Hi Big Tony! I agree with Scott! How could you go wrong for $20.00?
By the way I was watching that one on Ebay! I'll wait for the next ones!
Hope you love it! (your next post is going to be I havent bought a buck knife in 20 DAYS) :) This is just the beginning!!!!

You know, if it wasn't bad enough that I was drooling over all that s30v goodness, I just realized that you have an air-hockey table, too!
4 Buck Hartsooks, a Buck Mayo TNT, AND an air-hockey table? I am now officially jealous. Really really jealous........
you sir are a very lucky man!
