when i first received this knife i felt that though kind of cute it wouldn't come in handy for my purposes due to it's very thin stock, and small size overall. i didn't carry it for awhile, then one day for unknown reasons i brought it to work, and while working that day i felt that pinch...damned splinters! i pulled out the mini canadian, but the tip was too thick, then i remembered the neck knife...it was absolutely perfect for splinter removal, the thin stock, and fine tip were a dream for this purpose. after that experience i began carrying it to work every day,and it's a splinters worst nightmare. i would recommend it to anyone in construction,or anyone in a field where splinters are a common occurence.

I agree. Nice unit. While the blade seems secure in it's plastic sheath, I fixed a very thin camo rope between the sheath neck lanyard hole and the two knife holes. The rope goes in one hole, up and down into the other hole. Lots of ways to do this and with this there's pretty much no way to lose the knife unless I'm lost. Of course, it's not a fast removal but that's ok with me. Have a nice day.
