Did Buck ever make a hatchet for camp use? And if not, who do we pester to get them to think about it? :D

So, is the big difference between the first two and the third (in price) attributable to condition: unused/box vs used/no box?

A little bit, but main difference is different variations just like a 110. They only made those axes like that for so long then made a design change.
The phenolic handled one (like a 119 :D) is earlier and hard to find.
The red micarta is also pretty rare (very seldom seen especially in that condition). The third is a "more common" version.
Heres the latest version, not bad but I don't have one...

Still have mine circa late 80's?!
Had laminated wood handes, I think.
Problem was it developed tiny rust spots along the exposed tang area of the handle and this was stright out of the box brand new.
Decided then to elegate it as a collectors piece.
And went along with a Cold Steel hawk instead.
