Hi Folks---- I have a Buck 303 that I would like a little help with as to when it was manufactured.
On the main blade it says:

BUCK
MADE IN
U.S.A.

On the other side it reads 303
It has only one pin in the middle of the knife
I purchased it in 1971 when I got home from Vietnam. This little knife is tougher than nails. Heck I even ran over it with my truck one day. Can some of you help me out.

With all due respect ot BCCL, I think the 303 in question is actually a third version Camillus manufacture with the correct 1971-74 dates. The second version, manufactured 1971, should have 3 pins (2 handle scale pins and one back spring rivet).

Good catch, I missed the handle pin part! :thumbup:
 
Mine just has the one pin in the middle below left part the shield

You nailed it 300 ---- left side 3rd from the bottom--exactly. By the way that is a terrific collection.
