Hello, I am a new member to your forum, and am looking for advice concerning the Buck Heritage Series Damascas-blade knives. I'm looking to get a really nice gentleman's folding pocket carrier for a family member, so I'm willing to spend a bit extra to get something that will really stand out and be a pleasure to use.
I've looked at local sports and hunting stores, as well as looking online. I came across (on line) the Buck 016 Heritage Collection Limited Edition Damascus and Black Pearl Lux 2-1/2" Blade, which goes for over 3 Ben Franklins. Its a really special looking knife, but I'm unable to find, it seems, much info by way or reviews or critiques of this knife in particular or of the Heritage Series Damascus blades in general.
I have tried searching these forums but I have been unable to find much in the way of user reviews, although I may have missed a forum covering this. So, if anyone here has opinions as to specifics of this knife, i.e. the quality of the Damascus steel of this blade, the frame-lock locking system and so forth, I'd really appreciate it.
