finially found you. two questions;the earlier folders,ie;stockman, were they marked on all blades and not just the master? have a 301 3 blade stockman, shield is stamped WATERGATE 1972-1974W and master blade is acid? etched the same. buck said they had no info but you could special order just about any way you wanted. any info? regards

This is not a knife you see everyday. I have heard of it though. I have a photocopy of one in front of me now. The unfortunate thing is that i can not tell you anything more than you can find out by reading the blade. It was "probably made around 1974. I do not know how many were made. I don't see them that often and would think one to be a collectible.
