Buck intrepid 189t

I have just purchased a buck intrepid 189t from a pawn shop and have tried to find out as much info on it and all that I found was post's from here in 2002 about the authenticity of a Navy seal mark (my knife doesn't have ) I paid $100 for it, I think I got a good deal plus I fell in love with it at first sight. Any info would be great

A short lived knife in the Buck catalog from 1998 to 2002. MSRP was $170. I have never seen one with a model number or date code. Here is the 1998 catalog page.

Thanks Desotosky I have the first one, I had to search for what the model number because I don't think that the place I bought it didn't know either
