Sorry fellas but I was never much of a Buck fan but I have still had a few over the years. I got this one from my Father, it was a hunting knife for him. I have no idea what model number it was, but I am fairly sure that he bought it in the 1960's.

Then in the 1970's I got this Buck and used it as my deck knife while working as a Commercial Diver. I pretty well trashed it.

What I really wanted to show you is this knife made by Bladesmith Kit Carson (I think in the 1980's), which is called the U2 model. It was the inspiration for Bucks short lived Interpid series. I bought an Intrepid sometime after I got this U2, but I sold the Buck. The Intrepid was so much cheaper and lighter duty than this custom U2 that I did not care for it at all, soon it was a goner.

vjb.knife vjb.knife Aloha, welcome to the Buck Forum. Thank you for sharing your knives with us. The sheath and tang mark bracket your 119 Special about 1964 to 1966. The knife with the marlin spike is the model 315 Yachtsman. It was made by Camillus for Buck, it first appeared in the 1972 catalog and ran up into the 1990's.
