I can't believe how smooth it went when contacting Buck about needing a new screw for my Marksman. I could have worded my other thread better, and perhaps I was a bit hasty in posting it. I apologize for that one. I emailed Buck describing my issue. To my surprise I actually got a reply. I emailed on Saturday and got a reply Monday morning. I only requested one screw. Today, a little over a week later, I got two new screws in the mail. To further my surprise, Buck also included the two Allen wrenches needed to adjust the knife. I already had some Allen wrenches that were the right size, but now I have dedicated set for the Marksman. They also included a little card with a code for 30% off a purchase on their website. I couldn't be happier. Buck really came through. That new Blue Lives Matter Spitfire really has my attention. Or maybe another Marksman, like the 831. I may have to put that code to good use. :D

To add further to the Marksman experience, I have had it just about two weeks now. I've gotten used to opening and closing it with one hand. I absolutely love the Marksman. It flips open nicely, and closes pretty fast. It's a joy to hold and fits my hand perfectly. The 3.5" blade is the perfect size. It should be able to handle just about anything. It doesn't quite disappear in my pocket like the Spitfire does, but it is still quite comfortable to carry around. Perhaps my favorite feature of the knife is the unique locking mechanism. It's just a neat design all around. The Marksman locks up completely solid. It's such a satisfying sound when it clicks open.

Great to hear your experience went well and you are now happy with the knife. These things happen and all that matters in the end is how it is handled.
