Wow. I finally give in. After everyone that told me the paraframe sucked, I finally believe you. The paraframe II i got today not only costs more than the Juno, but weighs more too. I tied 3/8' hemp into a monkey ball, and then I tried to cut it with the Paraframe II. It barely cut at all. There were only a few scratches in the first layer of knots. The serrations only served to pull on some of the knots. Then My Juno cut through in 2 strokes.
I don't actually know if anyone cares about this. But I would just like to share my dismay about how a knife that costs $10 dolalrs more than another could lack so mch performance.
I'm not buying Gerber again.
