Buck Kalinga.....ok or just wrong??????

I had a mint Kalinga but could not get over the desire to shape the handle a little.....I finally sold it and bought one without a sheath that needed some help.....this is what I ended up with.....

If you don't want it please give it to me! It looks good to me, but no expert on the kalinga.
 
Did you modify the blade as well? Plus, I've not seen a Kalinga sheath with Buck stamped on in. DM
 
It looks like a first class modification. Nice work. Now you have a nice user. I'd love a user Kalinga.
 
Looks great, that's an excellent mod. I've always been a Kalinga fan, they look very eastern in their styling, which is sort of becoming to me.

I made the sheath, shaped the handle, did not modify the blade profile but did regrind to thin the edge geometry just a little..

The Kalinga was the third best design ever.Just behind a six inch Nessmess and the Buck 110.
What was your original inquiry ? Some of us here are old...............
 
He merely desired feed back on his modifications of a Buck Kalinga and he made the sheath. The Kalinga would not make my short list on correct design. The 402 Akonua and 103 Skinner would. To each his own. DM
