The open knives have tang stamps "820" and date code for 2001. Really comfortable, anatomical, hand-filling, grippy and solid handle. Would be great for pull cuts. They look like the current Karambits to my eye. Called by Buck TLC, tile, linoleum and carpet. Craftsman's tools. I stumbled upon a small batch of these inexpensive, rare in my experience knives, and thought you might like to see them. Blade is 1/16" thick. Weight is 5.25 ounces, without sheath (sheath is lined with a black hard plastic liner). There is a huge lanyard hole thru which you can see the tang.

Interesting find oregon! I can see how they would be great for carpet etc., first time I have seen these! They do look a bit aggressive though:eek:

Thank you sitflyer. Exploring Buck's legacy product line can be like treasure hunting. I have the regular TLC with the straight handle, no finger hole, and you can find these more easily than the ones pictured above. The blade shape captures the target and the point can have devastating pressure that few carpets can resist. :)

I gotta get going to Eugene soon but I'm finishing up some business. Taking the camera, cell and the ipad with me. I've heard that the venue doesn't have a robust wireless network so I'll see about contemporaneous broadcasts/pictures.
