I just ordered a little keychain knife tonight. I haven't seen anyone talk about them on the forums.

Its listing: http://www.buckknives.com/index.cfm?event=product.detail&productID=2959

I've wanted a little knife like this for a while I just never seem to get one. I figured it might as well be a Buck.

NOTE: I also ordered a Spyderco Sharpmaker kit and the Spyderco diamond rods. I have been using the Lansky crock-sticks and wanted something a little better quality.

I don't know what they're like, but we will both find out. I have one coming myself that was part of a package deal. I like the fact that it's USA made also.

I was wondering if they where made in the USA. I glad that they are. I prefer knives made here at home. Thats what got me started looking at Buck.

Again, I am at work so I cant access the sight as it is restricted(weapons:grumpy:) What model number is it?

I thought we may have been talking about a 425-nice little USA knife with a lanyard hole-size of about a 503. Cheap on the bay(just another thought)

Had one these in my keychain for years and about the only thing it was useful for was cutting string. The blade is T_I_N_Y.

I gave several as gifts last Christmas to some non-knife folks in my family. They all seem to like them a lot on keychains or in cars for the light and small cutting tasks. Not hard-use, definitely, but really handy sometimes.

Thanks for the input. I mainly ordered it for fun. I'm not expecting alot out of it. At least I can carry it at work, along with my Swiss Army Knife.

This must be one of the knives where Buck has brought the production back to the USA just this year. I received mine and its stamped "Taiwan". I started checking the catalogs and this year is the first time that the American Flag is in the catalog next to it's picture and description. Plus, the logo in the handle is new. It also has Buck U.S.A. stamped on the "bottle opener" loop instead of just Buck.

Not much of a knife, but it's cute and has quite a heft to it. It feels substantial and solid, unlike the little plastic handled "mini Buck" keychain knives.

One funny thing. The Buck Web site still shows the old version, where the catalog for this year shows the new, USA made one.

If someone is wanting to pick one of these up and wants a USA made one, you have to be carefull. Here's the one from Taiwan.

The 759 Started in USA production Mid-late 2008, They were fully in USA production around Jan when we shipped the last of the Taiwan stock. You will find both in the field depending on how quickly the retailer turns their stock.
