Buck knife id help

Looking for some help with id of this knife. Anyone know what the 5 means.

Nope…that is a unique stamp to be on the mark side rear bolster. Haven't seen one like that before. I like it though!

The three dots on the tang date your knife to about a 1980 110.
 
Tha'ts a pretty interesting one. You might want to ask Buck Knives Joe Houser before you consider selling it to find out if it was a special run or something. Never seen one with the bolster stamped.

Thanks for all the replies. I am new to this site, seems like a friendly bunch! I thought it could be from the custom shop but wanted to see if any else agreed. Is Joe Houser a BUck employee or a member here? How should I go about contacting him. Thanks again, Nick
 
I've seen one stamped on a front bolster before... It was a 110 fixed blade...
I sure would love to have yours... Sweet... I just collect odd stuff and blades... :thumbup:
and anything that has Buck on it... Cool .... :eek:
