Buck knife ID

As stated, that's the Empress kitchen knife version of the Buck 107. I read somewhere that this kitchen knife was found to be a very good bird and trout knife, so Buck rebranded it as the 107 for field use. Usually, the 107s have black micarta handles, or wood handles with no bolster, as opposed to the reddish/brown micarta on the Empress knife.

His is definatley not the 107. The 107 was only like 8" overall. With his 5.75" blade, it's the middle knife of the set.

The model 200 Empress Trio cutlery set consisted of a 4" Paring, 6" Utility, and 9" Carving knife. The individual knives in the set did not have model numbers. The popular 4" Paring knife went on to a solo career and was given the 107 model number. As already said, your knife is the middle 6" Utility.

Excellent gentleman, thank you! It gets used frequently in the kitchen, excellent Buck heat treat. Now off to find the two missing knives…. Or, if someone has the set they would sell for $70, that would be great too. 😀😂
