Is there any knife from buck that is similar in size and looks to the 110 with a drop point blade?

Sog,

Buck has made a few LE/SO 110's with DP blades.
Here are a few, these show up on the auction sites from time to time.

From top to bottom:

Buck 110, sporting Buckcote clip point blade, on top for comparison.
Buck 450 with the grippy rubber handle below.
Buck 180, Crosslock with thumbstud.
Buck, Bucklite 426, showing off its ECCO green resin handle from days gone bye.

I can imagine those limited 110 have a high.

Does buck have any other production models with similar looks as the 100 with a drop point blade?

Not that I'm aware of.

IMO, that's a mistake on Bucks part. I find drop points infinitely more useful in nearly all situations. I can imagine that the traditional clip point would outsell the drop point by a wide margin, but given where tastes are moving, I would have to think a change will be needed to make the 110 and 112 more accessible to younger buyers.

You might look at the large Bucklite Max 486 which is the same size as the 110. Blade shape is highly personal so don't go by me but I find the 486 blade to ugly. Beaten with an ugly stick ugly.

Another option would be the old 500. It's smaller than a 110 and more like a thin 112. Wonderful knife IMO.
