IMO, that's a mistake on Bucks part. I find drop points infinitely more useful in nearly all situations. I can imagine that the traditional clip point would outsell the drop point by a wide margin, but given where tastes are moving, I would have to think a change will be needed to make the 110 and 112 more accessible to younger buyers.
You might look at the large Bucklite Max 486 which is the same size as the 110. Blade shape is highly personal so don't go by me but I find the 486 blade to ugly. Beaten with an ugly stick ugly.
Another option would be the old 500. It's smaller than a 110 and more like a thin 112. Wonderful knife IMO. Buck 500 Duke by Pinnah, on Flickr
