Its been a few years since we had a talk on these subjects. Some of you have improved your display and storage situation. Several newer folks may not have gone back and done searches in this area to get ideas. So, any interest in discussing your new methods of storage and display. New storage materials have come on the market also, if anyone has done consumer tests.

But first , let me talk thread security. Don't discuss or show photos that could lead to problems. Locations of homes, location of displays in the home, your schedules, etc. Always remember this is a PUBLIC open forum. But, I know some of you have gotten fancy pieces of furniture that you have your knives in, and even get to have them in spouse controlled areas. And I know some of you are wood workers and may have some construction you would like to brag on a little. Even just some new cigar boxes can be discussed. So if this sounds good, join in the thread and if not let it die.

As for home knife security, this is still my belief:
Robbed from another knife site:

~Gold is for the Mistress - Silver for the maid~
~Copper for the craftsman cunning at his trade.~
~Good! said the Baron, sitting in his hall,~
~But Iron - Cold Iron - is master of them all.~

If I am talking knives and someone asks where I live I reply:

I live in a cave with a bear and hide both my knives in a hole in the rock where a rattlesnake lives. The skunks and I generally get along.....but they complain about my smell

I store my Buck knives mostly in old eye glass holders for pouches and then hidden. I'm blessed to live in a great neighbor hood! I live so close to a shooting range that you can hear the reports from our back porch. Most everyone in my neighbor hood is armed and like us has at least one big arss dog. We have a cop that lives a few houses down and my nephew is a cop in the next town over and comes by some too! Myself and the two adult women a share the house with are nearly always armed and my sister-inlaw is nearly always home due to being on disability.

Pelican case storage is too notch !

I used a pelican case 1600 and it was so secure I could fit over 200 buck 110s or around 30 buck 124/122s

You tube is full of clips using these cases .
