buck knife

would you recomend a buck model 119 special yes or no for the purpose of an everyday knife the appeals to the age old thought that a bigger knife is a better knife

For what? As something to carry everyday? Something to skin animals with? Something to start a collection? Something that's just big and cool?
 
I have one, i use it around the yard sometimes, and yes, i would reccomend it. And check out the cocobola handled version too while you're at it.
 
i've had a few over the years, and as much abuse as i've handed them, they can take it. the first one i ever bought, i used daily in my welding shop as a prybar, hammer (butt end), chisel, screwdriver, scraper, and even cut with it. 5 years of abuse, and it still hung in there. i can't say enough about that knife, and would highly recommend it to anyone.
