Buck Knight, Prince and Squire

I am a fan of these knives, are there any plans for them to be made using a higher grade steel other than 420HC, like 440C? Same for the stockman and Cadet for that matter. Would anyone else like to see a higher grade steel? Personally, 420HC is sufficient, but unfortunately, I've become what some would refer to as a steel snob .

I would love to see a Prince in BG-42, a set of 3, 1 each with Red, White, and Blue Micarta.

I love my Idaho Squire and I wish I could get one in upscale steel, too.

I went to buy a couple 505's for Christmas presents and Buck is out of stock... Same with the 503's and the 501's.

Anyone heard anything? High demand or out of supplies?

I carry a 503 everyday. To me, nothing is more comfortable in the pocket. The 420HC is sufficient for my normal daily use. Great little knives!

That said, a D2 Prince would be nice...

I agree, the 420HC they use is just fine for daily use. Now that I think of it, I can get by without a high-end steel, but it would be nice to have a mirror-polish option.
