Hi again ladies and gentlemen

I just want to let you know that I purchased a Buck NightHawk today and it is one of the most powerful knives I've ever laid my hands on... It looks like it's begging to be uset to chop wood or something... I took a pic with an MOD for size comparisong (?) purposes.

And while on the store, I realized a Buck Tac Lite, G10 handles and ATS-34 blade, that says "1st Production Run 1 of 500" on the blade, and I was wondering if the knives that have that written are actually 500 or if there were more made with that writting.

You see, they have 2 of them, and it kind of surprises me that if there were only 500 of them, 2 ended up in this part of the world...

So if you know that fr sure, it would really help me make a buying decision or not. (how much would be a reasonable price for it?)

Take care!

I'm not sure what the decent price for it, but I do know that a lot of people collect Buck. There's even a Buck collector club.

The knife might be a sound invetment, but do a little research on it first.

the Nighthawk is one tough S.O.B. of a knife. I beat the

for the record... I LOVE the way it looks :D

With all this hype about being able to chop through Concrete Blocks, I did a little test with my Nighthawk. I hammered it through a flat, rectangular piece of concrete used for a patio. It was about 1.5 inches thick. It survived, but I needed to use a belt sander to restore the edge.

The Nighthawk is a great, super tough fixed blade:)
