Hi all,

a friend of mine should buy a Buck Knives commercial M9 green bayonet, NIB conditions.
What is the present value of such a bayonet ?
Should I get some pictures or any other info, I will post them.

Thank you.

I do apologize I did not read all the rules and was not my intention to break any rule.

If you get a photo and post the question. " Can someone give me a over view of the details of this knife it would be very helpful to me."

Then as one the experts in this area of the Buck knife world answers you, they may perhaps include in the answers a "range" of used knife values. We are a helpful forum, especially to our friends who visit us from the 'continent'.

Hey, what can I say, I like spaghetti.

Should I get some pictures from my friend I will post them here following your good suggestions.

Hi all again,

here I am with few pictures.

Do you think is an original Buck blade ?
How many items Buck Knives made of this commercial model ?

Thank you !

In the flip of the front pocket of the scabbard, where you can see those two small pin holes (first picture at the top), there was a chevron which probably has been sticked there by previous owner.
The friend of mine removed it.

Hi all and Happy Easter.

I would like to make an offer to my friend for this bayonet but I was not able to find any info in the web.
Do you think $190 are worth ?

Thanks.

Buck's M9 bayonet was featured as 'NEW' in it's 1987 catalog. I've held this knife and it is indeed a tough hog knife. Bikers like them. Around a 1/4" thick blade and can withstand a truck running over it. This first one has a 7" blade some others came after were 5" blades. They remain in good demand and I see them at shows offered in the 2-two fifty range. New, with box and papers. Less if used and no box. It came with enough gadgets to out fit several men. It's a real man's knife that can take abuse. NOT mfg. for hunting, fishing & backpacking. Or of course would fit for a conversation piece. DM

Ok, enough of this. We have been friendly to knife person over the ocean. I just hope some GB lost his carry knife in the correct way, you know, for women or trade for bike or cycle. Lets close this down and if you want a thread to talk about the model you can start a new one.
