Buck knives featured in a 1969 archery world magazine

I have that article as well. I think its been passed around. But perhaps all didn't get it. DM

It's nice to compile old Buck articles, glade you have it DM. I've been a regular hear for a few years and haven't seen this one on hear yet. There's always someone who hasn't seen the things people post, weather previously posted or not.

I love it!thanks for sharing,i wish i could read the whole six pages of that article,I just love old ads and such!

Thanks MB. I downloaded the pages and now I'll see if I can read them. You might contact the post office and mention that a 1969 magazine delivered in 2011 is a little slow.

Copies of that article were made available to all who attended the collectors 20yr. reunion back in 2008 at the Buck plant. However, I've noticed not many of those collectors are on here.? So, much of what we discuss here is new to everyone. DM

Talk about a blast from the past, thanks for sharing I love seeing old ads/articles especialy from that era (1960's) and IMO the 110 was the knife of the 60's.

I have several old ads from the '60s and '70s. I like to pick them up cheap at auction. I like looking for them in antique stores when they have old magazines.

It would be nice if Buck went back to their original hammer/bolt/knife trademark,to me its what should bve on every box or package out the door, people love that old time old fashioned type of thing.

Buck Knives"famous for holding an edge" I would say that was why many people became long time lifetime buck knife owners/users right there.Today knife companies are building too many plastic knives and not enough quality stuff.
