.... for posting as Gold or better on the Buck for sale or trade(Sticky) at the top of the Buck Forum.
Your post number will be your entry number.Only one number per person.So if you posted more than once on that thread ,your first post will be your number.The other numbers you posted on will be void.
Several Buck knives (3) at the moment will be given away to the first (3) or more if we get more knives donated.We have to have 40 Gold or better members signed up.Deadline:October 1,2006 midnight.
You must be 18 or older and the knife must be legal in your State.:)

7 Buck knives have been donated for the drawing.Buck is making a knife for the drawing it is one of the 7....there will be six numbers drawn for at least six knives or other prizes

I am just curious as to where this deadline date came from...is it written in stone, or dependent on some other happening, or just an arbitrary number/date??? Neither Spark or Cougar specified an ending date for the gathering of interested members... :confused:

Cougar said yes, but you need to post to Spark's sticky thread up at the top...we need names for Spark to count...
 
Plus, your post #(on your first post, not every post) will be used as your entry # for the knife give away:cool:

I set the date.....I figured if I let it run longer that I would give more of my knives away....so I set the deadline for the "drawing".Thanks to Buck (Joe Houser)two other BCCI members....we have ( 6 ) knives to give away for six places.The odds are getting better:) :thumbup:

Now then ...do you think it would be mean of me to "not " announce the types of knives until the deadline is over,
and then just list the winners and picture of the knife that they received?Maybe a few who didnot sign up would feel bad....

Could be mean, could be funny...finding out the Buck guys donated their Case or Frost knives for a give away;)
 
hay ! you know that might be away to rid my self of thoes other knives that some gave me thinking they would be good "buck use" knives for use on -deer... as to showing what are the prizes... yea it is mean to not show them but then why not keep it a surprise...long as my name is in the drawing! :)

Yup, my birthday is Christmas Eve, so any chance I get to get a "surprise" any other time of year sounds good to me. To those of you who donated knives, I say, Job Well Done! I wish I had something to donate but I'm still building my collection and, as yet, don't have anything very impressive. I do however, make great custom sheaths and holsters for folders and can do custom leather for about any of them if I have one to mold to, so I could donate a holster if anyone is interested!

Well, here's the first problem...According to Evil Eye's Ground Rules (and I quote), "Your post number will be your entry number"...and Rudderjt's first post in that thread was Post # 25... :rolleyes:
