I gave my Buck 110 Paperstone model with drop point blade a workout today. Its a joy to use for skinning. DM

Here's a before the work photo, with Buster and Zina discussing the matter with me. DM

Yes, with my Thomas hand call and surprised him with the 'payah' from my pet load of 3" magnum #4 Buck from my 1100 at 50yds.. Thank you, DM

You told that neighbor to keep his dog on his own property......whats all stuff all over the ground, it looks like grass but I have never seen any in your other pictures......300

Ha, the dogs are mine. The grass (Black Grama) came as a result from our good rains we received this year. I'm still just letting my horse graze and he's doing well on it and supplementing him some grain. We are So, thankful to have gotten what we did. DM

On a similar note, toward you gents that prefer the shorter blade 112's or 500 to perform this task. I have for several years been switching among the knives in this photo and for most skinning jobs I've not noticed much difference using them. Unless the buck or elk is real fat or your quartering him out, you guys do have a valid point. DM

Nice looking Yote David. For some reason, we had a lot of them around our camp this year, during hunting season. Never did get a shot at one though

Thanks for the pics David, and thanks for ridding the world of 1 more coyote!
Scott, Thank you. It's going on 3yrs. now since I've seen a single deer fawn any where near our farm. So, I decided I'm not harvesting a deer I'll just work predator control until I start seeing some fawns. DM

There's this young coyote that roams in and around my place. For some reason he stays clear of the other ones around and is sort of a loner.A few weeks back I was sitting on the patio when some heavy equipment pulled up the road making all kinds of racket. All of a sudden he came flying over my rock wall in the front yard and laid down hiding, oblivious to my presence. He finally spotted me sitting there and looked rather embarrassed as he left in a hurry. :o It was pretty funny!:D

That is funny Skyhorse.
