Buck Knives on TV

Here is perhaps an interesting post that some of you might be interested in viewing. Apparently, the post is for a shop by tv type of program that will be selling buck knives (but if you look at it, prices are all current factory retail so no deals there. But the interesting thing is that Sarah Buck (whoever she is) is to speak of the history and tradition of Buck knives. To access this post, you can go to the advanced search by user name and enter barlow bill and that should bring the post up. There's probably a way to "copy and paste" that link here, but being the newbie that I am, I not sure how to do that.

Thanks for the heads up. I found the info but I don't get that channel :(

I wonder if they will eventually put it on the web like they did for the Spyderco show?

You can't depend on their channel lookup guide...it says I don't get it here (14304 or 14092 - work) but do get it on ch 26 here (14094 - home)...Channel 26 here is ESPN... :grumpy:

My cable provider has it on ch 99 (Time Warner Cable)...and they're good!!! :D:thumbup:

That's tomorrow night!!! 1:00am!!! I'll stay up late!!! :p

Blasphemy and sacrilege aside, I have been duly educated, and from at least one that still does not understand a Dutch auction.

Two, if you count me... :D

Sarah has posted here on occasion, and she occasionally sends out a sort of newsletter...or listing...not often, and not lately, but she puts in a word now and then... ;)

OK Trax, or anyone else for that matter, how did you go about copying the url link onto a current post?? Geez, I just recently figured out how to use the quote.

Uh, you just go up to the URL box in the header and right-click/copy it, and then when you're writing your text, right-click/paste it... ;)

I only wish I could be in the audience, heckling her of course! :D
I hope it is not on at 1am around these parts though, thats way past my bedtime.

She is the Head Honcho's daughter!!!

Yep, that works like every other copy and paste. My problem was getting back to the new post after the copy, but I have that solved now if the need every arises in the future. Thanks for putting up with us newbies!!:D

Well, this sucks!!! :grumpy:

There was no "Buck Knives" on last night...just something called "Electronic Gifts", no knives...

...and no Sarah Buck... :(

Well, maybe Barlow Bill will have it on their website...

(hmmm...how come I'm the only one to post a comment in Bill's thread??? Nobody else interested???)

I only got to watch about 45 minutes before I had to hit the sack and call it a day. It was a blast and I think Sarah did awesome.:thumbup:

That blows! I set up the DVR for it and woke up to "Baseball Cards" instead of Sarah. :(

It must be regional...Time Warner/WNY (formerly Adelphia) has no clue what they carry ("We have HSN??? Really???")...

There is an on-screen guide (TV Guide supplied?) but it doesn't list exact segments; only the broad category... :grumpy:

Anybody tape it and convert it to digital?

Got to meet CJ and daughter Sarah in Houston at the NRA convention 2005. Nice people. The little compressor they use for etching their names went south for a while so I didn't get her name on that 289GY.

Good thang huh Goose...:D

Well, "Barlow Bill" doesn't seem to have posted the promised video to his HSN site... :grumpy:

How about everybody going to the thread in post #2 and sending him an email asking for it???

...Like I did...After I posted asking for it...

Get your wife out of bed and have her (and your kids...and friends...and your dog...) email Bill too... :)
