The edge grind at their spec'd angle of 26°-32° inclusive does real well with touch-ups on the SM using the 30° inclusive setting. If that edge could use a little more stabilizing for tougher work, then a very minimal microbevel applied on the 40° inclusive side works well. That 40° microbevel also works well for deburring after sharpening on the 30° setting.
If you like aggressive-slicing, toothy edges, sharpening first on a coarse or very coarse hone, like 220-320 or so, and then adding the microbevel on the SM's medium or fine rods, makes that edge even more wickedly & cleanly aggressive. I've liked that sort of edge on a 110LT I carry everyday. I've used either a Coarse (325) DMT or an Extra-Coarse (220) DMT for mine, and then add the micro at either 30° or 40° on the SM. My choice for that angle depends mostly on the edge angle I set with the coarser hone - if it's closer to 25° inclusive, I'll use the 30° setting for the microbevel. If it's a little wider, then I'll use the 40° setting.
