Buck Knives "Wanted" Sub-Forum?

Where can we post "Want Ads" for Buck related items? Would it be possible to have a Buck Knives "Wanted" sub-forum like we have a "For Sale" sub-forum?
 
Great idea TAH! I think this has come up before, but I'm not sure. I think it would be a great way to fill holes in collections, etc... I've heard there is a "wanted to buy" forum in the general section, but I've never strayed far from the Buck forum.
 
I have a friend who is looking for three specific vintage Buck sheaths. I'm just trying to help him and this is the first place that came to mind. :thumbup:
 
As I understand the rule, wanted ads are only permitted in the generic wanted section. That kinda sucks, I think our manufacturer specific requests would be lost in there plus it's someplace I would never look. I would prefer the rules to be changed to allow both wanted and for sale items combined in the same Buck sub forum. I might be the exception but I never go to any other forums than here.

This has come up before with no avail. I feel the same as DeSotoSky and rarely go outside the Buck forum as well.
 
My WTB ivory buck knife post has had 6 views since June, really getting out there, what a joke, you think us paying members would have some say on what we want
 
I went outside the buck forum once, I got in trouble for speaking my mind and said I would only use BFs for the Buck part from that point on......
 
Steel...y, it is a good Idea to use only the Buck Part of the BF. It is the best part of the forums. And if you really like to find a Buck item use the signature and describe there what you want to have. Believe it, it works. [emoji6] [emoji4]

I think this is a good idea. People have ask to have an additional sticky.? What about this in that form? DM

I think it should be "We the people"

We have a "For sale" cant we put WTB in that and call it "For sale & wanted"
I would even upgrade to GOLD

I asked for a Bucks for sale forum a time ago. But at least it came no answer. So I used the signature to ask for a v1v2 112. And that was tolerated. May be because I am a gold member?

This makes the most sense and would be the easiest.


Esav, what would it take to get this done? Could you ask Spark on our behalf? Gold membership is understood and reasonable.

You ask Spark, so he can explain what he needs. Post the request in Tech Support. He will need to see a need -- how many WTB there will be. He does respond positively if the new forum makes sense to him.

I mentioned a Gold membership to post WTB as a problem, a complication, not something I considered reasonable.
