Well, guys, we have a "Buck Knives For Sale" forum.

What do you think:

Do we need a "Buck Knives Wanted" forum too?

What's your opinion?

That sounds good to me. Of course the deciding factor might be what those in charge of this forum think.

Good idea. We all probably have some bucks we are looking to acquire and have some we would be willing to let go of, but too lazy to try and sell(in my case).
 
Great idea but posting wanted ads is another one of the odd not allowed rules of this place.
Don't like it but gotta live by the owners rules. It would be more efficient and sensible to allow "Bucks Wanted" on our existing Sales sub forum instead of creating a new one.
 
I think it is a great "Idea" but then what do I know ? <<<< just my opinion for what it is worth.!

I agree with this. ^

I placed a Buck wanted knife in the Buck sales area before I realized the rules here. It got moved to the abyss of BF knives wanted. That's just burying the wanted knife thread for a Buck guy.
This is the place for all things Buck.
 
OK, before you guys start jumping up and down let me throw water on your fire. I did this already and was told there already is a Wanted forum on BF. Its just not a Buck only Want Ad area. Your going to have to talk to the higher up's to get any change in the 'concise' reply I got.....300

PS For BCCI members the new website should be up and going sometime before the weekend.
 
Seems like a good idea, you would think the higher ups would listen to their paying customers....maybe they realize everyone would get sick of seeing STEELHEADBULLY posting "wanted, any and all Buck Custom Ivory knives" every week!!! Or every day...hour....
 
That's a good and logical idea. Like Mark said, this is the place for all things Buck. When one of us places a "wanted" ad in the 'BF Wanted' forum it's for all practical purposes a waste of time unless another one of us happen to be perusing it out of boredom. It's a great idea, Herbert!
 
Well, thank you for the agreement. It is roundabout 10 years ago that Decaf Dave started to fight for a Buck Knife For Sale Forum. Same situation: "we already have a knife sales forum" was the first anwer. But we have a BKFSF (I love the American short cuts) now. Won't we campaign for this object? I think it is possible to get what we want. We'll have the chance.

The main difference I see in having a wanted section within the Buck Knives forum is that it your add would be more noticed by the Buck collectors, buyers and sellers. I do not post "Buck Knives wanted" within the general wanted portion because I feel it would most likely go unnoticed by the individuals that have Buck Knives. How many of you Buck people go look at or post within the current knives wanted area on a somewhat regular basis? I have only looked within the knives wanted section maybe once or twice just out of curiosity.
If there was a Buck Knives wanted section I would for sure post in it as well as keep an eye on what others are looking for.
 
That's the point, ged, the general wanted portion is of no interest for a collector of a single brand.

Correct, It would be nice for us " Buck only weirdos" to be able to help each other out more than we do.
Haebbie, I bet you would have gotten your Berlin Wall 110 a lot sooner than you did if this option was available years ago
 
Join BCCI a wanted and for sale section. Nothing but Buck Knives 24/7
 
Just a thought. May be simpler to just add OR WANTED to the current BUCK KNIVES FOR SALE forum. Each listing can simply start with FOR SALE or WANTED. Basically we would just be asking for a title and use change on a current forum. Hard to believe that would cause anyone heartburn.
