Buck Knives

Buck has been doing s30v in the 110 for other shops as exclusives and in their custom shop for years. Truth be told it wouldn't surprise me if it brought them more business as it will draw more curiosity about those old bucks in different steels since they now have it in regular production.

You can actually get a Buck 110 in 420hc, 5160, cpm-154, s30v, s35v, cpm20cv, and probably others if you know where to look or use Google. You can get one in cpm-154 for $40 skblades if you wanted to test out a 110. It's what I did, as that's a $10 premium over a normal 110 for a big upgrade in steel.

I'm not posting this in the Buck forum because I think it's more of interest to the general knife public.

Buck's jumping on the bandwagon- they're now offering the 110 in S30V with Micarta or G10 scales. Straight from the factory! I think they're members so here's a link: https://www.buckknives.com/product/110-slim-knife-pro/0110FAM03/

Wonder how this will sit with SK Blades or Copper and Clad?

huh, what bandwagon?

c&c are selling those too and at lower than buck factory selling prices like almost all of bucks items.

sk does special runs with upgraded materials, not standard buck production stuff.

you forgot dlttrading who also does special runs and regular production stuff...but they like c&c are already selling the same stuff at lower than buck direct prices. as it should be.

im not sure I get your post other than buck and their dealers have 110 and 112 slims......

Are you referring to the Vantage through SK Blades? I might have to purchase one if it's a 110 (already have the Vantage variant in 20CV).

I believe he's referring to the "Silver Fox" from SKBlades.

It's a Buck 110 with burlap micarta, nickel-silver bolsters, and... CPM20V steel. Heck of a knife.

Yup that was the one I was referring too. I didnt trust trying to get a link posted on my phone when I have to reread my posts a few times to catch all the interesting ways autocorrect screws with me.

I almost bought one, but I decided it would suffer the same fate as my Kabar Dogs Head. A knife being too beautiful and expensive that I don't was to abuse it or use it in normal day to day activities for the fear of messing it up. So I bought two Shield knives, the nylon handles to me always inspired me to use it as a knife and I show no love for knives with these handles except one earned from respect through all the work I put them through.

bought this one in S30V from Buck Custom Shop in 2015. It has exceeded all expectations.

Just saying that Buck is offering through their distributors/retailers upgraded knives that you formally had to go through Copper and Clad, SK Blades or their own custom shop to obtain.

I wish the custom knives had the option for screws instead of pins. I know Buck's done them for some sort of exclusive/sprint run before.

The burlap 110 with NS bolsters is beautiful.
I wish I didn't see it, but unfortunately it can't be unseen and as much as I try to resist I'll end up buying it.

Resistance is futile, so why fight it. Just order now so you have it before Christmas. Don't you want that as a gift to yourself?
