Buck Kraton Handles

I had read on an old post about Bucks kraton handles working lose after a short period of time. I have an old 639 my mother bought for me many years ago and I haven't carried it much and an older Nighthawk. I believe the Nighthawk handle is partially kraton and partially nylon. Has anyone experience problems with either of these handles getting loose?

I have heard this, but I have never seen it. I have known people to use kraton handled knives for years with no issues. However, Cold Steel did have a few problems with this not long ago. Any manufactured item will have a few problems, from time to time. Mostly, I would not worry about it, as this is not a common problem.

Here is my 603 with that handle material. A 22 year old model. I don't use it much and never wash it in the dish washer. I hand wash it and dry it right then. I had a 639 with olive handle with the same stamping and it's handle looks in the same shape. DM
