I've seen the bucklites 48_ series in orange never really paid a much attention to it otherwise. I have just decided I need a 484, because of the pocket clip, and went to looking for an orange one but the only orange I can find is the 482 and 486. Has the 484 ever been done in orange?

Thanks

If you're referring to the Boone and Crockett models, They never listed a 484 in that series, just the 482 and 486, both of which have pocket clips. The orange in them are toward the "pink" or "salmon" rather than a true orange. They are really nice knives for the money.

Here's one with a true orange Bucklite.

Definitely nice nice but I will second that they are more towards pink than orange. Had a few people ask me why I have a pink knife on me, I just tell them its my favorite color...:D

Not that it matters but, I don't think all orange ones are B&C are they. I saw a 482 that appeared to have the 442 drp point blade rather than the slightly different 482 dp and no B&C mark on it, but it could've been just the picture.

While the one's I've seen were still more orange than pink, I understand what you mean about pinkish. I would imagine if it fades any it will probably look even more pinkish.
I have the fixed blade guthook in orange and would prefer it to be more orange than it is.

The only "orange" 48X series knives I've ever seen were the B&C models. If there are others out there, I don't know what they are.

Thanks Dave, I keep up with Armand's Lite thread it wasn't in there.
I'm not finding the picture now.

Well I went ahead and bought the black one last year because I couldn't find an Orange one.
Last week I stumbled upon two or three different sellers with the 484 in Orange. So I bought one.
It came in a blister pack, it doesn't have the boon and crockett etching and package says nothing of being in that series.
