Last week I went to Gun shop and when I was there a friend step in, we start talking about knifes, he told me that he have a Buck M-9 Bayonet and he was asking $100 for it.
It is used but not abused, comes with the original plastic sheath and it's in good condition, we meet on saturday and he sold it to me for $80.

So my question is:
The price is good or I payed too much for it?
Are this hard to get?
Is this a collector item?

I'm not interested on selling it, I'm happy with the bayonet and I will keep it.
any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks.

To find what other people are paying for a used Buck M9, do a Completed Items search on eBay. Pay particular attention to used knives that are in the same condition as your's.

Is it collectible? I think so, since they aren't made any more. Check out this M9 reference website to read more, particularly whether your's is one of the military issue or commercial releases:

There is also a Buck Knives sub-forum, if you have more specific questions.
