A recent item posted on ebay shows the markings of a typical 3 line early M9 except for the "H" in front of the USA mark. What was this "H" for and was it put on the bayonet by Buck? The item on ebay is #314331404 for your viewing pleasure.
Thanks
Frank

Frank,

As long as were asking, what does it mean if there is an "s" instead of an "h" ?

I tried to find out a couple years back and could not locate the answer. One of these days i will have to search the archives for the answer!
