The sharpest knife out of the box I've ever owned. Lighter than I expected. Easier to use one handed than I expected. Built solid.

I purchased the Marksman for $82 from Amazon, and I have to say you get a lot for the money. This knife is quality.

I find one handed use easy; I pull up on the lock with my index finger and let the blade close on its own. I expected this to be two hander, but its not, and that little fact made my day.

In short, the Marksman has lived up to the hype, and DESERVES a lot more. I'd take this knife over a PM2 any day of the week.

Buy this knife. Look for a full review in a few weeks.

I bought one off the exchange awhile ago and agree, its an excellent knife, especially for the money. (It's actually the only Buck I have besides a CPM154 110 that I don't really carry) I do still prefer the PM2's compression lock though, but the strap lock is definitely cool and easy to use once you play around with it a bit.

Ah finally a review of this interesting piece! Looking forward to the comprehensive review! Thanks a bunch!

The hollow grind is what made it slicing sharp. My technician borrowed it to cut a box and he was amazed how light it is.
Can't help to edc this for the last 2 months and still doing it.

I was really surprised by the Marksman, particularly that it uses a caged ball bearing pivot. Really a lot of knife for not a lot of price.
