Buck Mayo De-Horn and refinish

Got this one in the mail a bit ago. Work order calls for a 'de-horn' and some beveling of the weight reduction holes drilled in the handles as well as beveling off the edges and corners to make it more comfortable or less 'square feeling' in his hands.

I thought I was anodizing this one too for some reason but don't see that in the work order so I guess not so it will just be bead blasted unless I get word contrary to it.

Anyway, I'll post some after shots for the owner of the folder when I'm done. Thanks for looking.

Just fill out my work order form found in my sticky thread titled "Read this if you need to mail me work" found top the page somewhere here in my forum on page one. Then using the pdf link simply fill it out with the key pad on your computer and print.

Mail that form with the knife. I'll do the rest.

I love what Steve did to my Waimea! He made a good knife even better!

I'm eventually gonna have to get myself a Waimea and have it STR'd as well. Nice looking knife up there.

He also chamfered all the holes and beveled the edge around the entire knife making it comfortable and much more user-friendly than the stock version. :thumbup:

OK this one is all done. Got a brother to this folder in the mail today also but from another customer. Same exact Buck knife though but for a slightly different request. Then earlier this week I got this second Sequel by BenchMade in the mail that I did today also. Both are finished up. Sorry for the delay Jon. Got a bit of work in the mail this week had a bunch of little things ahead of it I knocked out first.
