Buck Mayo TNT framelock issue

I love my new Buck Mayo, but my framelock locks all the way against the other side of the frame. On all my other framelocks, the lock falls on the tang of the blade closest to the framelocking side.

Is this a defect? Should I contact Buck about this?

I would send it back to Buck. I can't even push the lock to the other side on mine, because of the angle ground on the back(butt) of the blade prevents this from happening.
