Great pics, I absolutely love my Waimea. I've been into high-quality production knives since the late sixties and the Waimea is one of my all-time favorites.
Somewhere in the USPS Priority Mail system... west of here... there is a package - with a new TNT - headed here. I anxiously await it - my Christmas. It'll join some nice other Ti framelocks - with SG-2, M4, and S30V blades:
Oddly, I've wanted the TNT for longer than I've known about the ones I already have. I finally saw one - fondled it last summer. I predict it will be worth the wait.
Stainz
Update: It's at the Birmingham sort facility - I'll likely get it this AM. Well, it'll be here - I won't see it until Christmas AM! Updated family photo then...
Thanks for the interest and the pictures! I am lovin' this knife. I love every knife I buy for the first week..... but I'm getting a different vibe this time. And i'm diggin the feeling.
I like the two flair-outs creating a decent finger guard. A good thumb ramp is important to me.
I really like Titanium. I think I will start carrying my Surefire Titan. Also I am going to try to trade my good watch for a titanium one. I'll be a titanium carrying fool!
The Waimea looks great to me. Betting it is as well made as the TNT which does not get the recognition that it deserves. I think the TNT is a heck of a nice EDC.
I love my little Waimea, sharpest folder I own and it doesn't get carried as often as it should.
Bringing this threat back to the top after more than a week because I was handling mine tonight, put my thumb in a just a little wrong spot and promptly got cut. This knife is SHARP!
