I've had several "real" Mayo's. Great knives, but honestly -- I never USED them much. Just too nice (and expensive!)

I bought one of the early Buck / Mayo collaborations. I took delivery around March (just missed the very first batch of 20 from Larry Oden).

I've carried it almost exclusively since that time.

I've been EXTREMELY happy with it. I was just thinking tonight -- "I should write them a letter". I don't know if I'll bother, but I definitely felt a post here was warranted.

Job well done!

Spent part of Saturday with Tom, and asked if he'd sell me his personal pocket carry, a Buck/Mayo. His response, "No, this is my knife..."

'nuf said about that... ;)

I love my buck 172 (is that the right number????)

I went by the factory on Monday morning and had a ball, there are a bunch of great guys working there..........San Diego will be diminished when they move to Idaho. ;)

My "pretty" TnT. (as opposed to my USER / EDC TnT)

Michael, that is sooo right! Just wish I'd been savvy enough to get in an order for a TNT when Tom was still taking them..."No" is a hard word to swallow, especially over lunch...

Looks like I'll be cruising the 'aftermarket', after all...

Great knife M, thanks for sharing!

Tom, good to see you again bud, thanks for the laughs too! ;)
